SGI CIVIC CLUB – This non-partisan fifty year old, non-profit organization serves as a forum for political candidates and discussions of island-related issues through guest speakers. The government relations committee tracks local county government matters and another committee provides the newsletter containing items of interest for civic-minded volunteers. Monthly meetings are suspended at this time but the Board of Directors meets every third Tuesday at 4 pm at the Firehouse. Volunteers interested in current events, writing grants

for island improvements, and communications, email president Jim Morris at [email protected] and visit www.sgiCivicClub.com
